Piarom dates are one of the most popular and important cultivars in north of Hormozgan province (Haji Abad). This type is also cultivated in Hasanabad Kzeroon, around Darab, Kerman and Bandar Abbas. It has a low moisture content and is considered to be dry.
These dates are the late-ripening species .they contain rich sugar, protein, and other minerals and have high nutritional value. This palm cultivation is mainly organic, and no chemicals are used at the cultivating stages.
For piarom dates these features can be mentioned:
A tiny skin, completely tied flesh to skin, a meaty fruit full of nectar and tasteful. Depending on the harvest time and planting site, moisture varies. Grain size is usually between 3.5 and 4.5cm.
This type of dates, which are one of the most delicious dates in the world, have long dry texture and are typically brown. Kharaks color is yellow to brownish and the skin is tiny
